'Dining With Death', our postponed murder mystery which finally took place on Saturday 18 May, was deemed a resounding success by guests and organisers alike.

Many thanks go to the highly professional cast of actors (pictured, L-R Nat Gibbard, Ben Dards, Annette Probert, Chris Sivewright, Shirley Jones and Steve Smith) led by Shirley, the writer and director of the bespoke mystery. Nat, Ben and Annette's assistance in the kitchen was also invaluable!

Huge thanks, too, to Sarah Doyle for the loan of her home as the venue and for loads of delicious cooking; to our CLP Secretary, Andy Hancock, and Sam Jackson for their help and support throughout, from planning to clearing up; to Fiona Factor and Linda Ingram for all their assistance; and to all the various people who lent everything from candlesticks to cutlery – we couldn't have done it without any one of you!
