As Kathy from Preen noted during her recent inspirational talk at our CLP meeting, although our area seems reasonably affluent, this Government's policies are creating real hardship for many in our constituency.

So, in the run-up to Christmas, we are opening up the Labour Hall in Biggleswade as an 'out of hours' collection point for the Preen Food Bank on the following dates and times:

• Sunday 16th December 3pm - 5pm

• Monday 17th December 6.30pm - 8.30 pm

We should not need food banks – but, while they are here, we will be doing all we can to support them. Do pop down and see us if you can – we'll have the kettle on!
