Canvassing workshop – Thurs 12 April
While social media has a part to play in campaigning, face to face conversations are still vital. They help us understand what people care about and enable us to talk about how a vote for Labour can make a difference, both locally and nationally. Canvassing also shows us where our support is and makes sure we get this support out to vote at elections time.
We understand that the thought of knocking on doors can be daunting so, with that in mind, we are delighted to be hosting another Canvassing Workshop to give you the confidence to have those conversations.
Venue: The Labour Hall, Crab Lane, Biggleswade, SG18 0LN
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Host: Cei Whitehouse

Cei has considerable experience of campaigning on the doorstep in Scotland during the Scottish Referendum and during the 2015 General Election and locally in Hertfordshire during the EU Referendum and 2017 local and General Elections. Cei lived in Arlesey until he was 14 years old and is delighted to be returning to constituency to put on this workshop.
The workshop will take you through the process of what is involved to ensure that it is a valuable experience both for the Labour Party and you personally in what may be your first experience of campaigning.
The workshop will also discuss some 'do's and don'ts' on the doorstep and some of the pitfalls to avoid.
